Andrew’s love and passion for music began at an early age influenced by various musical family members; however, it wasn’t until the age of 13 that he received his very own guitar.
Committed to practicing and bettering his skills, he progressed quickly as he entered high school where he was presented with a music award. During high school, he played in two bands and began writing and performing hard rock music. He continued performing with various bands and solo artists into his 20's and had an opportunity to play overseas. Andrew eventually partnered with a singer/songwriter to form a band which saw some success in the mid-2000’s. The songwriting duo won the grand prize in the International John Lennon Songwriting Contest(Rock Category), offered an EMI Publishing contract, received two honourable mentions in Billboard Songwriting Contest and were awarded a Jager meister Sponsorship at Canadian Indie Music Week.Andrew’s recent musical endeavours have included playing in various cover bands, writing and recording music and most recently joining Blue Suede (a tribute to the music of Elvis Presley) where he brings the amazing guitar sounds of Elvis in the early days and the later sounds of James Burton to the stage.
